Annotateshot for Mac Privacy Policy

This policy applies to Annotateshot for Mac, a macOS screenshot capture and annotation app distributed through the Mac App Store.
Data Collection
Annotateshot for Mac does not require an account and does not collect personal data for analytics, advertising, tracking, or profiling.
Screenshots and annotations are processed locally on your Mac. The app does not upload your screenshots or annotation content to our servers.
Screen Recording Permission
Annotateshot uses macOS Screen Recording permission only when you ask the app to capture your screen, a selected area, or a window. This permission is required by macOS for screen capture features.
Clipboard and File Access
- The app can copy the final annotated image to your clipboard when you choose the copy action.
- The app saves exported PNG files only to folders you choose.
- For sandboxed Mac App Store distribution, Annotateshot stores access to your chosen save folder using a macOS security-scoped bookmark.
Third Parties
Annotateshot for Mac does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. The app does not include advertising or third-party tracking.
Data Retention
Annotated image exports are stored only where you choose to save them. You can delete exported files from your Mac at any time.
